Last Updated: June 24, 2026
At ImageTools, accessible from this website, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by ImageTools and how we use it.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
1. Client-Side Processing & Your Images
ImageTools is designed with privacy at its core. All image processing (compressing, resizing, converting, etc.) occurs entirely within your web browser using local JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas technologies.
We do not upload, receive, or store your images or files on our servers. Once the webpage loads in your browser, your files never leave your device. Therefore, we have no access to, and do not retain, the contents of the images you process using our tools.
2. Log Files
Like most standard website servers, we may use log files. These may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement around the site, and gather broad demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
ImageTools uses cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user accesses, and customize our web page content based on visitors' browser types.
4. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. We advise you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices.
5. Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
ImageTools does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
6. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
